    Strange behavior after last ALPHA ring update.


    After the last ALPHA ring update I noticed this thing. I have the Xbox series X console in low power mode. To the console I connected the 1TB Seagate SSD card. I noticed that when it finishes downloading a game update it gets stuck in the "completing operations in progress" phase at any percentage, for example it can be 10% 56% etc. even doing pause and resume update does not change anything. I also tried to move a game from the SSD card to the internal SSD memory or from the internal SSD memory to the 1TB SSD card, the game is moved perfectly and very fast but then again it gets stuck at the "completing operations in progress" phase " . Before the last ALPHA ring update, nothing like this had ever happened to me. I have already reported the problem from the console as well. Has anyone noticed the same thing? Thank you.

    The new update is only out for some Alpha & Alpha skip ahead insiders at the moment.

    If you're in the Omega ring then you'll probably be the last ring to get the update before it's released to everyone.

    I'm in Alpha ring and we didn't get an update this week, last one was Dec 19, 2018 IIRC.

    This has supposedly been fixed, along with a bunch of other stuff, in an update that's available for people in the preview program (alpha ring) now.

    So, if you're in the alpha ring, check for updates and you should see it there ready to install.

    If you're not in the alpha ring, or you're not in the preview program at all, I expect they'll roll out an update with a bunch of fixes in it to the public fairly soon.
