Store update has killed Hitman 2

The following information is from the Hitman Legacy Pack FAQ:

• Ensure that you have the HITMAN ‘base game’ installed and downloaded the latest game update for HITMAN, released on November 8th 2018.
• Ensure that you have the free “HITMAN 2 – Starter Pack” registered to your account. (You only need to ‘get’ this item, not have it downloaded or installed.)
  • For clarity on the above step, simply installing all of the H2 content doesn’t necessarily meet this requirement. Even if you can see that “HITMAN 2 – Starter Pack” is installed on your console, you still need to ALSO search the store for “HITMAN
    2 – Starter Pack” and ‘get’ it.
• Launch HITMAN and follow the prompts in the H1 in-game store to redeem and download your Legacy Pack.
• When the Legacy Pack has installed, it will be playable within HITMAN 2 only.

I’m not sure why it isn’t working. If you are going to uninstall it all then I’d suggest you install Hitman, then try to install the free Hitman 2 prologue from the Xbox store then install Hitman 2.

I know I had Hitman installed, then got the free prologue then installed Hitman 2 and got the legacy pack last.

You will not need to uninstall the free prologue as Hitman 2 will just install over it and add what it needs to add.

Found a solution, go onto a different account from the one you installed hitman 2 on go to the store find hitman 2 prologue click get, go onto hitman 1 then go to store and select legacy pack. Should be available then. Worked for me

If anyone is still having this issue: I had to uninstall Hitman 2 and then install the free Hitman 2 prologue. After doing that i was able to navigate to the store through Hitman and get the legacy pack.

I researched this edition and Hitman 2 Gold Edition doesn't seem to be a pack that's included. It seems that you have to meet certain requirements and then you access the Legacy pack from inside Hitman 1.

Have you confirmed you meet the requirements to install this pack?

Let us know if you've tried those exact steps and what it shows within the game store inside of Hitman.

It says it's available but then when it sends me to the store, no such luck. And it doesn't work from the store in Hitman 2 as there it only tells you to go to Hitman 1 and obtain the pack that way.
