    Hello, i had purchased a 12 month subscription to Xbox live yesterday on Christmas through the store. I received the email a few minutes later confirming that the purchase went through, yet it still hasn't activated. The strange
    thing is a few minutes after i received the email for the bill, i got an email that said my subscription ended. I checked it and saw that it had the ending date of my previous subscription on the email. I gave the Xbox servers the benefit of the doubt with
    it being Christmas and all, but now its just irritating to not be able to connect and play with my friends on the new games i received. Any help? If its any help i went from a card subscription to the Xbox store on my console.

    Hey. 19.05.2018 in the video store, I purchased an XBOX LIVE GOLD subscription for 3 months, [Mod Removed]. the player is BeetleCase60836. THE CODE WAS ADOPTED, THE ACTIVATION DID NOT HAPPEN. RE-CODE DOES NOT ACCEPT. PLEASE ACTIVATE YOUR SUBSCRIPTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    A card that gives a message saying it was not activated means that the retailer did not activate your code when you purchased it. Go back to the store and have them activate the code.

    Where did you purchase the code from? Was it online? Was it from a local store?

    If it was online, which website and which country do you live in? If it was from a local store try taking it back as it may not have been activated at the register.

    Normally when a code said it is not valid that means a character that was entered was not valid.

    If it says that it is not active that means the store did not activate the card when it was purchased. this can take up to 24 hours sometimes for the stores system to send the info to MS to let them know the card was activated.

    did you get a receipt from the store at point of purchase as this usually states if the card was activated, can't blame Microsoft when your purchasing from a third party.

    If the code is not valid, most likely the store where you purchased it from did not activate it correctly. I would take it back to the store and let them know and try to get a refund.
