Storage question

Discus and support Storage question in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I currently use a seagate 2tb harddrive on my series x as external storage and the thing is since its for the xbox one it wont let me play series x...     Storage question


    I currently use a seagate 2tb harddrive on my series x as external storage and the thing is since its for the xbox one it wont let me play series x games on it i have to keep transfering them To the internal. My question is if i get the storage expansion card would i have to transfer each game off the external cause i wouldnt want to lose access to those games if they are locked on that specific drive.

    Was hoping there was a system i use as i continualy have to buy two of everything and with modern technology you would think a game storage hun would be available.

    This is not the answer you want to hear. You should be able to use your Network-attached storage device on your Xbox,
    no problem. However, You wouldn't be able to use it to store games or apps. ... If your NAS supports
    DLNA, the Xbox One will be able to play media using the "Media Player" application.

    Any 256GB or bigger will work; it's not 500GB or bigger. ;)

    Is anything over 250, but not sure why you would buy a new one that low :)

    I am sure the one on ebay link will work, can't see if it's usb bus powered tHo, if that matters to you.

    *edit it IS usb powered it was on the specs tab :)
