    Hello,

    I was lucky enough to snag a Series X from my local Walmart and I've had it for about a month now. As you can tell by the title I've run out of storage and was wondering if anyone knew if I could play Series X games off of an external SSD? Not the Seagate
    expansion card, because that's very expensive. Also, I was wondering how many external storage drives could I have connected at the same time? I plan on buying an external 1TB SSD and maybe a 2TD HDD. Any help is greatly appreciated!

    [/quote] You could swap over the hard drives as and when you needed too, but you would need to recover the Gamertag everytime you do. Or store your profile on a USB stick like i do. Also you can use USB sticks for extra memory space (upto 16GB per stick,
    maximum of 2 at a time)

    You can use an external storage device for backwards compatible content and to store Series X games, but the Series X games will only run off the internal drive or the expansion card.
