    Storage is full when it isn’t


    On my Xbox it is saying that my saved data is full when I still have over half of my storage available on the console and my external hard drive. Because of this it isn’t saving any new data. How do it fix this?

    Storage is full when it isn’t

    you need to delete save files you're not using, each game has a specific amount of cloud storage and you've likely filled it up

    Well, what I’m getting is that no one really knows exactly what that support article is referring to. Perhaps the option to store data offline only is only seen in some sort of prompt when the cloud storage is full and perhaps my problem isn’t that the cloud
    storage is full so I wouldn’t have seen the prompt. I’ll keep working the problem.

    I'm sorry you're having issues with storage. There are many ways listed in the link below on how to free up more storage, but my #1 recommendation is to get an external hard drive that will allow you to have more space on your Xbox. I was constantly fighting
    with my own storage problems until I finally got one and haven't had a single issue since. It was around $50, but I'm sure you can shop around to find what is best for you. There is some info on the storage link about hard drives as well.
