Stop YouTube Cast to Xbox One X

Hello, Hi

I have a problem with YouTube allowing any device to cast videos to my Xbox One X, even though I have quit the application.

I tried signing out from YouTube but still people could cast videos to my Xbox, even while gaming it switches from the game to YouTube because some is casting. I even uninstalled YouTube and installed it without even launching it, it still allowed devices
on the WiFi network to cast videos on it.

I can not use any other WiFi connection because I use campus WiFi at my student accommodation. The WiFi is free and fast.

I tried searching for solutions on this Microsoft Community about the matter but whatever I found was outdated. Because the directions they gave to navigate through the setting do not match what is on my Xbox One X.

Please, I enjoy having YouTube installed on my Xbox, could anyone please provide me with updated instructions (based on new Xbox update) on how to disable casting from every device on the network.

Ich meine du musst über deinen google account gehen und dort und apps you tube für jedes gerät einzeln deaktivieren und der geräte verlauf ist der zweite punkt der dir gezeigt erlaubt das löschen dann .

Also bei uns in de. ist so zu machen und das ist dann auch dauerhaft so zum glück ..

bei google findes du das unter datenschutz und verbunde apps

Open the guide

Go right the gear icon and select on the "Settings" option

Select "Devices and Streaming"

Select "Device Connections"

Switch option to "Don't allow the Xbox App to connect"
