Stop vibrating on Xbox One Controller - Windows 10

So i just been in contact with support that thought I should post this on the forums.

The problem I have is that my Xbox One controller vibrates each time i turn on my computer or plug the controller in.

When I updated to windows 10 it stopped vibrating because it installed another driver for the controller too. It was fine untill I tried to play Final Fantasy XIII / -2 where the controller freezed and stopped working when I got into the "save" screen so

The post told me to change my driver software to another one already saved on my computer. I already had one called "Xbox Controller" which didn't vibrate and worked on all games (except Final Fantasy). So now I switched to one called "Microsoft Xbox One
Controller" which worked on everything BUT it did vibrate when i pluged it in / turned on the computer.

So I wonder if there is any way to turn off the vibration but still use "Microsoft Xbox One Controller" so I can play Final Fantasy.

me to cut the cords on the controller so it doesn't vibrate (since there is no option to turn it off)

Anyone know another driver software that could work? Maybe try another controller or USB cord for the controller?

Hello, I am afraid the vibrate-when-plugged action the controller performs is part of one of the first updates it received (around the time it was updated for allowing for 3.5mm jack headsets).

As such, the only way you can get rid of it without resorting to such drastic measures is somehow reverting the controller's firmware back to a previous state, which as of now, is impossible.

So there's no way around it for now. It vibrates when receiving power, even through the console. It's integral to its current firmware.

Im playing it on Windows 10 it has Zero vibration, Im playing it on an XBox360 and an Xbox One Controller
