Stop the carnage with the Xbox PC app! Put the same interface as the xcloud and the xbox

I had the same issue. The controller worked for navigating through Xbox app. but when a Xcloud game is launched, the inputs stopped working. I force stopped Xbox app and unpaired controller and removed it from Bluetooth devices. After reconnecting, the controller is working in Xcloud games. Hopefully it will fix your problem too. And it is for sure that this error is of Xbox app.

Thanks for the reply. In reference to your issue, that feature is not available with the streaming from Xbox One to PC. Game streaming is the ability to play Xbox One games remotely from your Xbox One console on any Windows 10 PC on your
home network.

To take advantage of game streaming, you need:

• Xbox One console: Game streaming must be enabled in Settings.
  
• Windows 10 PC: You must be signed in to the Xbox app with the same gamertag as on the Xbox One console.
  
• Network connectivity: The Windows 10 PC and the Xbox One console must be on the same home network. Options:
  • Wired - Ethernet connection (recommended for both PC and Xbox One console)
  • Wireless - 802.11 N/AC wireless connection

Sounds like you were running a bug that was fixed with the update.

this is for xcloud app and I’ve tried doing it on my own Xbox but I still have the same issue on xcloud

Yes I think I signed up for Xbox Insider but don't remember if it was before or after Xcloud stopped working for me. I did not try Xbox Cloud Gaming before Nov 2021 as I initially tried a trial month to play AoE 4 on game pass.

I have tried making a new account and adding my Xbox to it, but the Xbox app goes black after "Enable screen", and making a local account on my PC and neither helped.

I currently don't have access to a second PC to test BUT I did run a Vitrual Machine with Windows 10 on my current PC and through it I was able to use Xcloud and Remote Play. Based on that I'm fairly certain it would work on a different PC on the same network. The problem seems to be specifically my PC and the Xbox app.

For the moment, this app is reserved for game developers, hence the mention Xbox Developer Kit, being an Xcloud tester is not enough.

The Xcloud for PC should be available for public testing later!
