STOP tackling the Minecraft Xbox MODDING and SHADER community.

Like I said, there is NO WAY they tackled someone for "exploiting software/hardware" because they cant find anyone who would do that stuff, if you exclude the person who created MCAddons Manager - he gave a logical argument seen below about his ban.

Your argument is basically accepting the Xbox Team to make a HUGE monopoly over Minecraft without acknowledging its consequences on its community. And proceed to say "if you dont like it then leave it". Plus it would not be really right to put the logic of your last sentence on people who just have and xbox or who have it as the strongest hardware in their homes (which are millions of people), how are they going to experience videogames smoothly then? Buy a PC? Well like I said, read the second last-paragraph.

Protesting against Microsoft is a better alternative than leaving the community because of those actions because it lets Microsoft know better on what is right & wrong.

you own the hardware but all the software belongs to whichever company created it, when you purchase the software you are granted a licence to use that software you do not own it, if they state no modding then there is nothing you can do as they can and will revoke your licence to play the game. they can limit what you can do and add features at a cost. if you do not like this then you have a choice of not using said software.

you agree to all the terms when purchasing software and using software built into the console.

besides, the console is a closed environment, you have to use software which is licenced to you to access anything if you disagree with the terms then by law you should and must stop using said software which means the console is a brick.

it is entirely Microsoft software and they can choose how it is run, you only own a licence to use the game, you do not own the game, they don't own a monopoly of the game as they own it, they can dictate what happens with their software anytime they want. if Microsoft want to stop third party mods for their game they can, if they want to push their in game store they can as they are the owners of the game, if they wanted to they could stop all mods and revoke the licence for anyone modding the game.

it is also entirely up to Microsoft what apps free or paid are allowed on their service, it is a closed eco system meaning nobody can dictate what they do on their service, it is not publicly owned therefore they are breaking no laws.

I dont think you understand, let me re phrase, they added SHADER support on the Minecraft Preview but you cant OFFICALLY buy or download SHADERS on minecraft XBOX
