Stop cross play with computer gamers before you kill the console players

Terrible, terrible idea, console gamers will get destroyed by PC players. This would only be a good idea if you had the ability to opt out of cross playing with PCs, PS3s I don't mind.

I hope you're not suggesting that all PC gamers are cheats. That would be a wholly inaccurate comment. I'm a PC gamer and a console gamer.

Disabling or having the option to not play in cross-play wouldn't necessarily make it so that using cheats can't happen.

The old Call of Duty games on the Xbox 360 were quite notorious for of modifications and cheats that totally ruined the games, especially when the developer stopped actively supporting them. So saying that there was a 99% cheat free existence before cross-pay isn't true either.

The PC versions of cross-play titles have various anti-cheat mechanics, it's up to developers and publishers to keep their systems and games updated to prevent cheating. Since most games don't use Xbox Live servers it's not really a Microsoft problem. PC players are banned for cheating too.

All communications have to be rated 'E' for everyone. It doesn't matter if the game played is mature or not. This is what you agree to when you sign up.

Xbox Live is a paid service because Xbox consoles are sold at a considerable loss. This loss is made up in an online subscription. Try building a high end gaming PC for the same price as a Series X, you can't. PC is an open and more expansive platform. I know, my PC cost me £1,500.

This is a community forum. Microsoft won't see your post here. If you want something to be done about cross-play issues, contact the developer/publishers directly.

Since Bedrock is cross-platform, I was hoping that my kids can download it on their computers as well

This is where the confusion I laying I think...cross-platform is different:

Cross-platform: This means that, when in the game, you can be playing with people on PC or console...if it wasn't cross-platform, then you'd be playing with people on console (if playing on console yourself) or on PC (if on PC)

Play Anywhere: When listed in a game's details, this means it can be downloaded on any platform that is supported

xbox give us the option to turn cross play off

i dont want to play with PC players

its out of control you can tell when a Pc player kills you its that simple

i dont mind playing against play station
