STill Using the Quake Engine huh!

I was a die hard fanboy of cod once. After mw3 i became tired of the whole series, one for the same old lag comp system the series has had since cod 2. I didn't change for AW either, if anything the lag comp is worse. My ping is usually between 20 and
30 m/s and I always have 3 or 4 bars. I did a test with a friend in private match and found that this game is terrible for around the corner kills and many other things that the series has been getting worse with. I setup 2 tv's and 2 xbox's and me and my
friend played side by side.

1) just with two people in the lobby

2) I could peek at my friend around the corner and pop back around the corner and my didn't even see me unless I paused for a few seconds.

3) When my friend was running I had to aim behind him in order for a hit to count.

4) when I was running my friend had to aim ahead of me to hit me.

5) We stood facing each other and I shot him and killed him with one burst of my ak-12

6) My friend shot me with the same weapon and it took the entire clip to kill me.

You see the problem with the quake lag comp engine. Quit using it, go to dedicated serviers!

So I get into a lobby with my 28 m/s ping and start playing ffa. When the game started I noticed that 7 players have 3 or more bars and one individual has 2. The 2 waxed the floor with us every time I got in a face to face battle I and everyone else lost.
I feel like my character can't kill nothing and it takes an entire clip to kill someone.

And other times I get online and can play fine, when this happens I usually win or finish top 3. This only happens once a week all other times its lag and I finish next to last. This is why I got rid of this crap and moved on. Cod is dead.

And what is the deal with no search preferences? I search for a game now and I get into a match with people speaking in German or French! I'm on the east coast not Europe.

Bottom line is the game looks great but the lag comp, bad spawning system, I don't know why cause every time a cod comes out the spawns are horrible so why not fix this before the game hits rather than a patch a month or so down the road. I personally think
the game was built on a Bo1 platform it looks identical and think You guys at Sledgehammer didn't do anything other than borrow some templates from Treyarch to build AW. Ghost had the create a system down with the pick system with being able to rank up multiple
characters at once you guys took that away and still again the new cod is just the same old cod with prestige, pick systems, and now even crappier killstreak rewards.

Seriously the lack of AA KILLS THE GRAPHICS

Sorry but I believe this is incorrect. Quake 3 used the "id Tech 3" Engine while Call of Duty (MW) used it's own Proprietary Engine known as the "IW Engine".

 

Games to look forward to that are not day one

the unreal engine was never used in any cod games all call of duty games have been using the quake 3 engine since 2003
