    Still showing as a friend when unfriended


    Why am I still showing as a friend and receiving on line status notification of a unfriended gamer? This is freaking me out as he can still know what I am up to on xbox. He is not on my friends list but I am still on his.

    Friends list issue

    I added a friend on xbox and there gamer tag will not show up on my friends list i show up in theres and it will not allow me to unfriend them to re add them, they even unfriended me and re added me amd they still will not show
    up does anyone have any suggestions?

    Did you unfriend him? If you don't want him to message you again, you can block that user.

    Xbox one introduced a follow system, so that people can track other people that might be OK with having people know what they are doing, but not friend them. If you are concerned about just this one person, you can block them through your Xbox One by selecting
    their Gamertag, going to their profile and selecting Report or Block, and then
    Block. If you don't want anyone you've not friended seeing your activity, so long as you have an adult Xbox account, you can go to
    Settings>Account>Privacy & Online Safety> Xbox Live privacy >
    View details & customize > Communication & multiplayer
    > Others can see your activity feed. You can then select only friends to see your activity feed. You can also set other filters in
    Online Status & History for _____, which can prevent unfriended people from seeing when you are online and the like. More info on blocking on Xbox One, can be found

    I did unfriend him but I still show on his friends list and I get notified when he gets on line, this should not be happening!!! He is not showing as a follower

    I have those security settings in place. That still does not address the reason I am still on his friends list and why I get notification of him getting on line.

    The best course of action then would be to block them, as I mentioned previously. This will remove them from your friends list assuming something happened incorrectly previously, and prevent you from seeing when they are online and, them from seeing your

    It could possibly be a sync issue, I would recommend deleting and redownloading your profile, that should fix it hopefully.
