    Still not working with Omega ring...


    (Sorry for my bad, and incomplete English language skills)

    I bought an Xbox one S a month ago , and I entered the insider program, and now Im in the Omega ring, at level 5. Today I got an update, but I can't even play f2p multiplayer games without Live Gold or Game Pass ultimate. As I looked after others have a similar problem, is there any solution to make it work?

    Slow Upload Speed on Xbox

    My console was on the Beta ring. I moved it to the omega ring, essentially rolling back several updates. After xbox was setup again, the issue still persisted. I log on today after work apx 16 hours later and normal upload speeds were back .

    That is actually not a bad idea. Staying in the Omega ring has very low risk. But in case something does go wrong, one can still revert the firmware update if it was still an omega version. And then block firmware updates until a fix is available.

    The main issue with this broken firmware release is that there is no way to roll back to an older firmware version.

    Hi, it depends what ring you are in. Currently there is no insider build for Beta, Delta and Omega rings, this means you will be on the current public build.
