Still No resolve with SHUTTING DOWN

Hey Rmag, it certainly stinks to run into frustration situations like that. Everyone needs to vent once in a while and sometimes it feels like the only place we are comfortable doing so is on online forums. Feel free, but understand that all of these interactions
are recorded and logged all the time. It might be wise to reconsider other options for dealing with stress and frustration.

Keep in mind, you aren't the only one facing difficult and annoying circumstances. We all get struck with an occasional or recurring struggles and we all deal with them to the best that we can and try to learn how to grow from those situations. Game on!

This is beyond crazy!! I have seen multiple treads in forum with this and they get locked.. I have been an xbox owner since the start.. Get a 360 REd rings issue. 2 replacements later I get that ok. SO i spend the money and buy a X for 500 launch.. few months
ago starts shutting off. Like you all have heard before. I call and get a run around about power down and unplug blah blah, system worked for a little bit but of course came back and I am now out of warranty and I get asked to pay 250 bucks to repair it!!!
WTH. I have had a LAUNCH DAY PS4 that gets way more use then my Xbox and I had not one issue with it. My son plays on it still as I have a PRO edition with no issues again launch day. So yes I spend money on consoles and games. This is not a PS4 vs Xbox
as I have both and all that. What this is though is that I, like many others have been a good customer and this issue is a KNOWN ISSUE and they are looking to charge me 250?! I can get another one for damn near that price this time of year.. I am not sure
what I am looking for here if anything at all. I just needed to vent as I find this to be utter BS on behalf of people that still purchased the product after all the BS Microsoft put us through with the ONE.

If this was an isolated incident I think I would understand it more but its not and I have what amounts to a 500 dollar paper weight. AS I WILL NOT PAY 250 and yes I know its my choice. Just like I know It is my choice to now NOT continue with XBOX products.

Have you tried blowing it out sounds like its over heating

This is usually resolved by just signing out , then back in to your profile ....if still no , then you need to remove the profile from the console , shut everything down , then re add the profile when its all back up...

In the event a full shut down and reboot does not resolve the issue, try reinstalling the games.

I would recommend a full shut down and reboot of the console, that should very likely resolve the issue.
