    600 points rewarded for updating my membership with a prepaid code. I have checked all over my email folders. I also accidentally posted another thread regarding this problem and what I got back was "you will see your points pending within a 96 hour period
    after your current membership expires." If I need to wait a year for these things then that is ridiculous. Your help is muchly appreciated Still no promo points :).

    The points for the Halo promo won't go on yet. Mind you, I've had points pending for a while for other stuff and they still haven't gone on yet..... meh! S'not the end of the world...

    ms points , purchased with cash/card and free ms points

    1) PROMO Points will expire (aka, points you get for free).

    2) PURCHASED Points never expire (this only applies to points purchased from authorized retailers -- if you "buy" points from eBay or secondhand sellers, they may be PROMO points which will expire.)



    PROMO points are always used before PURCHASED points.



    You can see if you have any points due to expire in the next 30 days by checking the Microsoft billing site.
