    Still no Horror genre to filter by after all this time?


    Why after all this time is there still no way to filter for horror games on the Xbox store? I thought with this new store update it would introduce a more indepth filter system but it seems it still has the same old genres to sort by. This is really disappointing, I love horror games and I feel I can still never properly search for them via the store. I always just end up relying on Google. Seeing more indepth genres to filter by is something I really hope we see in the future, for both the Series X and Xbox One consoles.

    Edit: I'd like to add that there are genres for Word, Music and Educational. Which is think is great, but at the same time I think is kinda ridiculous when considering they also decided to not include Horror. From my understanding the Horror genre is pretty popular, truly don't understand why they decided against including it.

    James,Unfortunately this genre is not available in the filters at the moment.

    What you can do is put the filter on 18+, as they are the vast majority of horror.

    Just to comment on the conception of genre certain games go... Resident Evil doesn't have to be survival horror. Just to throw a few games out here:

    Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Country and Mario Vs Donkey Kong. All of them are different genres and 2/3 aren't really "DK" games at all, but Mario games. So what makes RE? I think the answer is a lot more whether or not the genre is survival horror.
