Still no beta app whom else doesn't have an inv to the new beta app?

I've tried both the normal and the beta versions of the app to no avail (same problem in both cases, really), and have ensured everything is up to date (the app, the Store itself, Windows, etc.) and tried every permutation of these already (trying the non-beta
app, trying the beta app, trying the non-beta app while the beta app is also installed, trying the beta app while the non-beta app is also installed).

All I can do now is hope the game that requires the Companion App will switch to using the Xbox app at that point in time, because said app opens just fine, beta or not; unfortunately it doesn't allow me to bypass the original issue, which is that the game
I want to play (while I can launch it through the Xbox app!) won't register my access unless the Companion App is functional.

Still, if you have any ideas as to how to fix this on a file by file basis I'm open to suggestions.

I am assuming this is on the PC? If so, it is likely that the app doesn't support controller input yet as it is still in beta.

I personally haven't had the opportunity to test the app yet, but will be in the near future so can report back should no-one else have an answer before then.

I've had this issue too. I think the system is just still new and they have to update the app. The app does say it's still in beta.

It has nothing to do with my pc, it is totally the new xbox beta app. It doesn't log you in, therefore you cant play. Anyway, i figured it out, i uninstalled the original xbox app and then reinstalled it. Sign in with "old" app, now beta version works.

In search bar type Apps and Features, then click on Xbox Beta, then click advanced options, then click on reset app and if that doesn't work then click on repair app. If none of this works try reinstalling the Xbox Beta app.
