    Still getting notifications from deleted friends


    I have removed all but 6 of my friends. I am still getting notifications from people that are not my friend in windows 10, I'm guessing through the Xbox Game Bar app. How do I take care of this and still receive notifications from those who are my friends?

    Can't access messages

    New quirk, I can access all messages on the console itself, however, I've only been able to delete conversations from friends. The notification from Xbox can't be deleted. The crash still occurs both on the App and Xbox.com.

    Receiving notifications from deleted friends

    Hello Chesca,

    Try power cycling (support.xbox.com/.../power-cycle-console) the console and see if this stops these notifications.

    You may also want to turn notifications off, power cycle, then turn notifications back on to see if that makes a difference.

    Getting no notifications from friends

    Hi DEATHGR1N,

    We appreciate you reaching out to us and understand your frustration. We recommend powering down your console, unplug the console and router for five full minutes, and power your console back on. This will clear your cache. If you still see issues, we recommend
    refreshing your profile by removing it and adding it again. The steps listed on our

    support page for profiles     should help.

    Happened to me a few times as well. Only thing I can guess its its because they havent deleted you themselves yet. And since the new system allows them to still have you on their list could be a while before they notice. Only thing thats worked for me is
    to block them as well unfortunately.
