    Still an issue with rewards depositing


    So, 6 months ago I posted here about my XBL Rewards credits not getting posted to my account. Was told there was an "internal database" problem and there was no timetable on getting it fixed. I had this same problem a couple years ago and it was resolved,
    but then it evidently came back somehow. With XBL Rewards getting folded into Microsoft Rewards soon, I worry that I will not get credit for all that I'm owed. Can this issue please be resolved soon?

    Issue depositing rewards

    Hello Crplz,

    After reviewing your account, it appears that you are currently being affected by a known database issue which is interfering with the information on your account. What is happening is that your billable account information is being incorrectly communicated
    to our servers. Since this data is necessary to determine where to place your deposit, the process is aborted. Since this issue is currently being caused by a database not under our control, we have escalated the problem, and it is currently being worked
    on by another team. At the current point in time, they have not yet provided us with an approximate solution date. Since this is an issue with internal data, adjusting your user information will likely not have an affect. We apologize for the inconvenience,
    and ask for your patience while our other team works on a solution.

    Hello vulgarcfh77,

    There is currently an internal issue with the data stored for your account which is preventing a deposit. Our deposit process cannot correctly determine the primary billable account to deposit into for your Microsoft Account, and thus aborts the process.
    This is an issue that we are working on resolving with another team since we are not able to fully access the database containing billable account information. At the moment, we have not received an estimate on when this problem will be resolved. We see that
    your recent deposits such as your deposit in February were a result of their work on testing a solution, but it does not look like it was a full solution for your issue. We apologize for the inconvenience. Regarding what will happen during the transition, if
    Xbox Live Rewards is unable to deposit into your account , as long as you have not opted out to make the transition to Microsoft Rewards, any undeposited Xbox Live Rewards Credits and unredeemed MyVIP Gems will be automatically converted to Microsoft Rewards
    points and be added to your Microsoft Rewards account to redeem for whatever you choose from the Microsoft Rewards catalog.

    There was a rewards deposit on the 8th and a lot of people are still having issues getting rewards credits deposited so they are getting those emails. The OP is mistaken that they are points though.

    Redeeming rewards points

    There is no way to have credits deposited any earlier than the scheduled deposit dates. You can request a deposit if you have at least 1,000 credits pending, but less than 5,000, in order to have them deposited before needing to have 5,000 pending first.
    But they will still deposit on the scheduled dates.

    A problem with my account...still

    Hi Staalker. The current issue still does not have a resolution, and we are still receiving the deposit error when we attempt a deposit. Unfortunately, the Rewards program customer service team cannot manually deposit your Credits into your Microsoft account.
    We will need to reach out Microsoft Support to do that. We are escalating your case for a manual deposit.
