    Still - after years - not possible to load my Avatar on Xbox or PC


    Maybe someone has an idea.

    I tried really everything. It must be a thing on my profile.

    Maybe an Xbox expert can tell if it is possible to have inconsistent state of the avatar file in the profile, which is online on Microsoft servers.

    I can log in my profile on every console still avatar app won't start and tell "your avatar couldn't be loaded".

    Someone told me you can create a profile from the start, but sure I don't want to loose my bought games on my account or achievements of course.

    We Couldn't Load Your Avatar *Update*

    The service status shows no issues again, and yet the Xbox Avatar Editor App still fails to load my avatar.

    Both console and PC.

    I give up lol :l I am thoroughly at a loss as what to do. Nothing has worked

    Avatar Editor Load Error

    I've had my Xbox one X for mor than a year now and have done everything possible to fix the avatar editor I click it green screen with avatar outline and loading ring comes up and stays that way for more than 10 min then cuts off like nothing happened
    did everything suggested when it finally loaded everything back up it worked for a day or 2 then back to broken I'm not full factory resetting my console again ugh

    Thanks for the quick reply.

    Alternate Mac Adress will result in a full reboot? I will try that.

    Removing my profile? I logged in to a completely foreign Xbox One X. Same problem there. Not possible to load the new avatar.

    Resetting my profile (with keeping games)? This is the one thing I didn't do as I am 100% sure it also won't help.

    If I order any Xbox console today, unbox it and log in with my profile, it won't load my avatar. I assure you.

    I somehow managed to destroy the new avatar file stored somewhere on I think a Microsoft Server, by editing too much, many months ago.

    I think I need to be content with the fixed old avatar forever and ever.

    Not possible to fix.

    Thanks this worked to put the account on the console but it is not with the avatar already on the console. My son has played for years and wanted to keep his avatar with the live. Is it possible to link them? Or move all of the achievements to the new
    avatar?
