Discus and support Stellaris console edition won't start in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Hello, I just bought Stellaris console edition digital and finished downloading it.     Stellaris console edition won't start


    Hello, I just bought Stellaris console edition digital and finished downloading it. Tried to start the game but it keeps saying "do you own this game or app?" Been surfing the web for solutions and all of em don't seem to work.

    Hi Xhraika, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    First, we need to validate if the transaction is successfully purchased on your account. Kindly follow the steps below and validate if the game is visible as "completed"

    "1. Go to Profile & system > Settings > Account > Payment & billing.

    2. Select Order history to view your purchases."

    Once confirmed, remove and re-add your account to re-sync the licenses.

    REMOVE ACCOUNT​​​

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. ​​​

    2. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts. ​​​

    3. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm. ​​​

    4. When you're finished, select Close. ​​​

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    ADD ACCOUNT​​​

    ​​​

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. ​​​

    2. Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select Add new. ​​​

    3. Enter the Email address and the password.​​​

    4. Read the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select I Accept. ​​​

    5. Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In & Security preferences to add your Microsoft account to your Xbox console.​​​

    I'm just curious, will doing this cause me to have to re-download all my games and apps and cause them to be considered owned but not installed?

    You're correct. As long as you're playing your games connected to Xbox Live they're stored on your cloud storage.

    I don't have an external hard drive in at all, I downloaded it on my internal hard drive.
