Steering wheel named and functions like a xbox 360 controller

Would I be able to connect a xbox 360 wired steering wheel to the adaptive controller and use it on the xbox one?

Which is better with a steering wheel? I like to drift from time to time and i have the MS steering wheel from a year ago. Which is better for car control?

I know my Logitech G920 isn't the most straight forward thing to connect to Xbox.

Just make sure that there are no controllers or other input devices connected to the console when you connect the steering wheel and turn it on. I know for me if my controller is on when I connect my steering wheel, the steering wheel isn't registered by
the console.

The other thing is to make sure all the cords for the steering wheel are plugged in correctly.

The creators of your steering wheel must create an Xbox driver to support their functions and then lobby game makers to include it with their game. Driver support must be baked into each individual game.

So they’re the ones you need to request to get it done.

Not according to the wheel manufacturers. In my correspondence with Fanatec they say there is a limitation in the Xbox software that doesn't allow functions like thumb rotators and LED lights to work and Xbox is aware of it and needs to change it.
