Yes link your steam account to the xbox activision account

You cannot merge two accounts

You can't since the windows store version is also the play anywhere titles it has to be linked to xbox store not steam

This applies to game pass too

Yea that's the other thing, Steam games will be accessible longer (at least in theory) than Xbox One titles. What happens when the Xbox Two *snicker* comes out? At least Steam games I bought 7 or 8 years ago still work find and dandy.
