Steam Controller with Game Pass on PC?

Was trying out the Steam Controller with Xbox Game Pass on PC, but noticed the gyro stopped working after my screen bugged out. Could've been detected as cheat software, and I'm not trying to get my account banned. I've never cheated in any game in my life before, and I've been gaming for over 20 years. Even with allowed mods on games I end up restarting the campaigns fresh because **** that ****.

Are Steam Controllers allowed on PC for Game Pass? I figure it would make sense that it could set off anticheat software since it's a very uniquely built controller which could make it seem like I'm a m/kb player that can't aim for ****.

Stoked for m/kb coming to Game Pass in the near future either way. Just figured this was the only controller I have laying around that works, and after finding out about the built in gyro helping with shooters, I figured I'd try to use it for games other than rpg's.

basically no, gamepass is picky when it comes to controllers, they prefer ones that use x-input only, the anti cheat in gamepass games is the exact same used in steam games and ubi games and origin games etc etc.

It's pretty much in the title. Game Pass games only work with Xbox One controllers but I would really like to sometimes use a PS4 controller or maybe 8Bitdo SNES controller (I don't know how third party wheel or flight controller support is but I am betting
it's not the best either). but you need to use workaround software that emulates Xinput devices.

this has been a feature on steam for a long time and you can even load custom profiles per game. it's a really necessary feature for PC games especially the broad genres featured on Game Pass.

There are a lot of features and fixes still needed on Game Pass PC but this is a really big one that needs to be addressed. I'm sure this is not a difficult issue to solve since games that do support many controllers on steam don't on the Game Pass versions.

Any game i try on pc games pass like Palworld is not working,

but when i use a different application for games like Steam, the games on steam are working.

so it seems to me to be a pc games pass issue?

PC game pass, it will be on the Windows Store, Steam, and probably other PC stores now and in the future.
