Steam Controller Issue

Hello,

I'm having an issue playing Dark Souls 3 with any controller on my PC. The thing that makes me think this is a Windows issue and not a Steam issue is that on any other account on my PC works just fine, the issue only occurs on my account. I've tried messing with the drivers, messing with the HID controller compliant stuff, and dabbled with steam option, but none of them really work. I was wondering if there was anything else I could try?

You could try sign out from your account on Xbox app and Microsoft Store, then uninstall the most recent windows update and see how it goes.

Another thing that recently came to my mind is try creating a new local user on your PC , open the game and then try using the controller to see how it goes

The issue occurs with Bluetooth and Cable.

May I know if you already try using another controller (for example an xbox controller) to see if the issue persists?

The issue only occurs with Dark Souls 3 fortunately.

I should also mention that I was able to use the controller with Dark Souls 3 fine up until some point early this year (or late last year).

May I know if you tried connecting the controller via cable?

Or via cable and bluetooth the issue is happening?
