    Hello. I bought recently a 1200 Microsoft points card ($15 amount) and redeemed it the same day I received it. Problem is that I'm trying to buy a DLC on Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and it won't let me. I checked to see if I have enough (which I do) and
    I confirm the purchase. After that, this message appears:

    Sorry, there's a problem with the Xbox service. Try again later. For more help, go to
    www.xbox.com/errorhelp status code: 8012271F

    I've tried multiple times but it still won't work T_T

    Hey I also continue getting that msg...8012271F...every time I try buying something. I've tried downloading DLC for Splinter Cell: Blacklist and it won't let me ether.

    I have updated my billing information and contacted xbox on the phone and nothing helped. Thank you for the suggestion though.

    seems to be something with the payment option but give these steps a try:

    To resolve this problem, make sure that the correct billing address is listed in your Microsoft account for the payment option you are trying to use. If an address is listed, make sure that it is updated and valid.

    To do this:

    1.Sign in to your Microsoft account.

    2.Tap or click Billing, and then tap or click Payment options.

    3.Tap or click the payment option you tried to use to make the purchase.

    4.Tap or click Edit and adjust the billing address as needed.

    5.Tap or click Next when finished.

    then try to make the purchase one more time

    1. Does this error code pop up whenever you try to buy anything? Or is it only with Splinter Cell: Blacklist?
