    Sorry if this is in the wrong bit. But whenever I go to watch a DVD, the whole screen keeps flickering static. It seems to resolve itself after some time but it shouldn’t be doing it in the first place. Any help?

    Static Flickering Issue

    Hi Xbox / Microsoft / People of the internet,

    I turned my XBOX ONE on to watch Netflix or Youtube.

    However once either of the Apps start the screen starts flickering static uncontrollably, no issues prior to the last 2 updates and games work without hassle, i have tried changing the Resolution to no avail, seems to be only Apps (Netflix or youtube),

    Can i please get some help

    Trouble shooting steps I have tried:

    Hard reset, pressing power for 5 seconds, after I turn it on it works normally playing games, but if I go to YouTube or Netflix it happens again,

    HDMI cables replaced, same issue

    Unplugged from AVR straight to TV same issue with nothing else plugged in Kinect unplugged as well

    Now I have to use the Playstaion 4 for Netflix and YouTube and the Xbox for games very frustrating changing consoles just to watch movies/videos

    I'm unsure which update caused this but I haven't watched Netflix or youtube for about 2 weeks prior to attempting to watch yesterday when I posted this

    My friend has had this issue and It seemed to be the HDMI cable, also maybe putting the XBox in 8 bit mode seems to fix it for some people as well.

    Hello. I have got something very important to say.

    Today I have installed my new Intel NUC. It's a miniPC that I will use as a HTPC. So while I was watching a movie I have had the same problem. Just the same problem!!!

    2 seconds blank screen without sound....

    This means just one thin. There must be a bug/problem with de Philips HDMI. This problem doesn't occur in my LG 22 LCD monitor.

    Microsoft sent me yesterday the new console to replace my original console. I don't know if the console that Microsoft sent me is new or repaired. In any case both consoles have the same warranty.

    I have 12 days to send my first console back to Microsoft.

    Now I have a doubt. I'm sure the problem is not Xbox ONE. The problem is the Philips TV. So which console would you send to Microsoft? The one that I received yesterday or my original console?

    I hope this info can help anybody.

    yes I know that is sad.

    I also need to Play on a BenQ 24" Monitor which I^ve borrowed from my friend...

    My Philips TV 42PFL6805h/12 does the same thing (short Blackscreen 2~3s econds and lost Audio for 3~5 seconds) like yours..

    If I use my Stereo Headset the Audio will not be lost, just the Signals which will be transferred via HDMI are lost...

    If I wanna Play on a 24" Screen I could Play on a PC with higher Resolution better Graphics and much better Framrate!!!!

    Microsoft how can this happen? what is causing this Problem? TV is Full HD and it flickers in very wide time gaps (hours) so there need to be a possible fix!!

    If it would be incompatible it would happen more often? isn`t it?

    actually it occurs after 3 hours of gaming and than no more for next few hours...

    If it would occur every 10 seconds or every 5 minutes I would understand but that way!! no?

    Please Help Us!

    sorry, I bought a Console for TV-Gaming and not for hanging on a 24" Monitor..

    I could have way much better expirience on a 24" with a low Budget PC.. Common...
