Discus and support State of Decay defaults to keyboard and mouse. Can’t use controller anymore in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Randomly, the game now swaps to keyboard and mouse.     State of Decay defaults to keyboard and mouse. Can’t use controller anymore


    Randomly, the game now swaps to keyboard and mouse. It is unplayable! How can I switch it back to controller or have it default to controller or turn off this ridiculous option? It´s a console. Who’s going to use a keyboard from a sofa?! I have a PC for games that I want to use those types of controls.

    I believe that when switching accounts the keyboard is probably disabled within the game, check in the controller's settings within the state of decay 2 if there is the option to switch from controllers to keyboard and mouse. Use the joystick to navigate to the required option.

    *Note: Do this from the account you are having this issue on.

    How could or would a game like Age of Empires work on console?

    the original Xbox only came with a controller. the Xbox 360 only came with a controller. the Xbox One comes with a controller. you can't buy an Xbox One with a Keyboard and Mouse.
    in my opinion if they don't sell them with a Keyboard and Mouse they shouldn't have support for Keyboard and Mouse. if you want to use
    Keyboard and Mouse you should play on a PC and not on a console.
