state of decay 2 wont download

State Of Decay, I saw a friend playing it & gave it a download, ended up loving it and bought the State Of Decay YOSE on Xbox One and State Of Decay 2 years later.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand having an issue downloading with the game State of decay 2. The Juggernaut edition was an update that converted the game. As you wont find the base game State of Decay 2 as it called Juggernaut edition
now. Here is a
link to the game on the Microsoft store. May want to reach out to the developers Undead labs also as it may be issue from their end.

It doesn't matter State Of Deacy 2: Juggernaut Edition is the only one you can buy/download. So you can search for either.

Let us try to change the default location where you can install games and apps.

1. First, open the PC Settings app by pressing the keyboard shortcut Win + I.
   
2. Go to the "System → Storage" page in the Settings app.
   
3. On the right page, click on the "Change where new content is saved" link under More Storage Settings section.
   
4. Under the "New apps will save to" option, select your target drive from the drop-down menu and click on the "Apply" button.
   
5. You may select the desired drive from the drop-down menu.
   
6. Go back to the Xbox App and try to select the drive and see if that worked.
   

By the way, are you able to download other games or apps through Microsoft Store or Xbox app?

i used the PowerShell method to re-install game service and restarted my computer.

- windows is up to date

- i also deleted the xbox app and re-installed it well checking if it was updated

- i made sure to be signed in to the same account by logging out and back in

- i have good internet so ive tried re downloading the game everytime i tried a new " fix it method ".

results nothing has changed
