    hi there i wonder if you could help me iv'e just started up my xbox and iv'e just tried starting up a game and it says "due you own this game or app" and i don't know what to due if you could give me any advice that would be grate thanks

    Sorry but this hasn't worked for me yet, still get to the same place right after the cutscene when it says "RYSE SOM OF ROME" and then cuts out and restarts the machine

    Problem starting up games

    I was able to get this to work by holding my finger over the power button on the console. Keep holding your finger there even after it shuts down. Wait about 30-60 seconds and power your system back on.

    After that I was able to play my games again.

    Please try to do this.

    Hello MJ,

    Thanks for coming to the forums. When you
    set the home    , is it the account that owns the game? In some instances you may need to reset this option. To do this have them log on, go to settings>personalization>home Xbox>the box should say remove my home Xbox. Go ahead and select this. Now will say
    make this my home Xbox, select this box. What this does is a kind of troubleshoot for the home settings. It will not use a switch as you haven't changed the console to any other console. Are you able to see other games they own?

    Sorry to hear it. If a power cycle or factory reset did not work for you then please try deleting then reinstalling the game.
    If this does not work You will have to talk to Xbox Support

    You can clean the cache of your Xbox, If It doesn't work You should unistall the game and install It again, If none of It so what You gotta do is talking to support.
