    Start function not working on Xbox 360


    Hi, I know it's a dated console. But I can't press start on my 360 (using and controller or the remote)

    My games load up but I can't press start to continue. I've checked online and can't see the issue resolved.

    Does anyone know a fix? Apart from binning it haha (Its one of the later black models. Its been barely used tbh. But I have it for older games and its useless now that I can't start games)

    Hi,

    If i am not mistaken Backwards Compatible games don't function as they would on the Xbox 360, There is some limitations to how the game works and functionalities to the UI

    I managed to get this working but i had to delete my saved data to do it. When you are in the xbox 360 emulator on the xbox one you can hit the start and select button at the same time which opens the xbox 360 menu. Go down to manage storage and delete the
    cloud saved data for the game. Then exit and continue loading the game and create a new save on the cloud and it worked fine. I turned off the xbox one and started again and the game found the cloud data fine without error messages and the online function
    of the game seems to be working.

    Some apps are still not fully functioning and will be soon. The update should finish if you erase what started and re power up your Xbox 360 Console.

    i posted this on a similar thread as i managed to fix the problem but it only works if you want to start a new game.
