Starlink will start "fair use" policy in December 22 - can we get a new setting for the...

Looking at my internet usage situation, the most bandwith and internet usage is coming from updating my XBoxes (5 XBoxes in the house). Updates to the console are between 600MB and 5GB - and if you are an insider like me these updates can happen multiple times per week.

Additionally, updating Games regularily with games using 10-40GB per download all this traffic is adding up.

Starlink has released their Fair Usage policy here: https://www.starlink.com/legal/documents/DOC-1134-82708-70

Which states that traffic between 11pm and 7am is not counting against their usage.

A setting in the XBox to schedule auto-updates for console and games would allow gamers on Starlink to keep their usage during the "Expensive" hours as low as possible

    StarLink Internet Latency Xbox Live

If you are a Starlink user who wants to know whether you can play online games uninterrupted in an RV, you need to forward specific ports on your router for which you need port forwarding feature for your Starlink ISP. Port forwarding can enhance Starlink speeds for online gaming and you can improve connection speeds.

You will notice good internet speeds on your Starlink connection compared to ADSL and optic fiber. Playing FPS or MMO games may not cause trouble on Starlink, regardless of the connection package you purchased. However, hosting servers or opening ports to connect to external servers can be an issue on Starlink due to CGNAT.

The easiest way to get around CGNAT and port forward games on Starlink is to use a VPN with a port forwarding add-on.

well my vip and xbox live rewards don't work i,m got 3 years of stuff not showing up

    Hello HardCor3Gam3r69,

In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. MyVIP has a recalibration every year. At the end of the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default
state. This happened in September 2015 and December 2016. Since you are a zero star member, you do not get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (https://rewards.xbox.com/myrewards/).

Lost all my Xbox Live Rewards Points.

    Hello BeatboxingKing,

At 5000 or more pending Credits, you are automatically scheduled for a deposit. In August 2016 you received a deposit of 7,900 Credits due to this, which was your last deposit. You can see a record of your past Credit and deposit events from the MyStatement
    on the MyRewards page.

Regarding your MyVIP rank, in September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a part of this policy, MyVIP has a recalibration every year. At the end of the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the
previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015 and December 2016. Based off your eligible spending from September 2015 - December 2016, you were placed in your current MyVIP level at the end of December 2016. You
can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (https://rewards.xbox.com/myrewards/)
