    starfield wont start game on cloud gaming


    I started playing starfield on cloud gaming but I have found now after installing a couple mods it will not load it all and I cannot go in to disable the mods as it just says that it's reloading the files and it does that for hours and does not stop is there any way I can fix this?

    Hello!

    Not a fix, but a workaround I've found is: 1. Opening the Xbox menu

    2. Pressing start button on Starfield to pull up mini-menu (Game card, add to group, etc.)

    3. Click give feedback and wait for it to start loading

    4. Back out by pressing B repeatedly

    This usually will bring you back to starfield save/settings menu as if you paused without having to close the game or restart your cloud gaming session. Like I said, not a fix but definitely better than having to fully reload the game and possibly get stuck in the cloud queue 🥴

    Is there a problem with cloud gaming for starfield on Xbox one ?

    There is currently a service alert up for cloud gaming, hence why you cannot play Starfield on the cloud. Microsoft are aware of it, and are working on a fix.

Upon checking the list of available games in Xbox Cloud Gaming Beta, we can only see the base game to be available - Play Starfield | Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) on  Xbox.com.

    Should you wish to include the DLC in the base game while playing in the cloud, please reach out to Team Xbox to have that possible. Please send feedback through the Xbox Cloud Gaming platform.

    Are we being lied to about the performance of the next generation consoles

    "Barely touched your cpu" with Starfield would only happen with cloud play. It's a CPU intensive game.

    Starfield Playability Through Ultimate Game Pass

    Not all games, but Starfield will be available through the cloud with Ultimate so you would be able to play it through that with Ultimate.
