    Starfield won't launch on PC Game pass


    As the title says starfield won't launch on pc through the xbox app. I have re installed it, moved it to another drive, verified files, updated windows, updated drivers, checked for game updates and restarted several times the game still will not launch. I have a 3070 gpu and a 11700k cpu so I meet the required spec requirements and I am on windows 10. The program does not appear in task manager either when trying to launch and nothing happens when launching through desktop shortcut or xbox game app. Any help would be appreciated.

    Why is this not default, and why is this not documented elsewhere? I ticked the box for offline play and literally in the background, the game instantly launches. Hours of troubleshooting, reinstalling, rebooting, driver update checks, etc... and all I had to do is check a freaking box.

    All I did to get the game to work was go do Xbox app -> General -> Offline Permissions and it started right up. Someone please make this by default or many others will have this same problem.
    THIS WAS THE ONLY THING THAT WORKED FOR ME ON THE XBOX APP, THIS SHOULD BE THE FIRST THING PEOPLE TRY.

    Weirdly enough, this was what worked for me too. No idea why.
