    I have xbox game pass pc subscription and I purchased starfield premium upgrade over Xbox pc app this morning but I can't launch and play the game. Microsoft support and Bethesda support are torturing me more than 9 hours. First chipset-CPU- updates, then Xbox App and Microsoft Store uninstalling and reinstalling, CMD and PowerShell commands, DirectX-Visual C+ updates, resetting the internet completely, connecting to the modem with cable, uninstall antivirus and giving exception on defender, BIOS update and finally they made me even format the computer. Bethesda support confirmed that my system can run Starfield. Finally Microsoft support said me that there is server problem on Microsoft side. But I called my friends and they are able to playing over Xbox app on pc. The guys who have been playing the game with torrents or illegal steam accounts for 2 days are making fun of me because I purchased the game, I'm pretty sure that if I download and install the torrent version now, it will work because I can even play with this pc the latest cod game mw2 at maximum settings. The only reason I bought a 1 year xbox game pass membership was this game, but because you are greedy, you made the game early access and you are such a damn scammer that even though I bought it the game doesn't open because I am sure your servers are insufficient. After today I won't be buying any of your products and I will do my best to make sure everyone pirates your games, damn you and your company...

    Because of xbox app is broken when you uninstall-reinstall the game or verify the game files, files are not uninstalling completely or not installing correctly. So first uninstall the game from xbox app then uninstall the xbox app. Reset microsoft store from settings>apps>advanced settings. Check documents/my games if there is starfield folder delete it. Install ccleaner for pc open disk analyzer on ccleaner and search for starfield, delete every file you see there. Restart. Reinstall the xbox app from microsoft store, then install starfield at one time without pause and you're good until next update...

    I had this issue what I did was first make sure I had all the latest drivers for my graphics card I then used win+r to launch run and went to temp and %temp% and cleared out everything I could (I skipped what wouldn't delete) then I went to the starfield install folder and deleted all the .exe file I could find and using the game pass app then did a verify and repair ,this got it working for me worth a shot and good luck

    Yes This is not working for me and I have the specs to use the game, according to steam that is. I got the same error code.
