Starfield save file not showing on Xbox Series S

But I haven’t overridden a save. I was playing less than 24 hours ago on the same console, and the save was there. But when I went to play this evening the save had gone and a new save with only 10 mins of play time was appearing. No one has been on the console in this time because I was transporting it. Im trying to find out if I can get the cloud save back.

Unfortunately if you have overwritten your save file, there is no way to recover the prior save. You'll have to make do with the latest one.

How do I manually select a cloud save? I’ve cleared the saved data from the console several times and when I restart the game it shows the sync load bar and then loads up the 10 minute save.

You can retrieve your Xbox cloud saves by following these steps: Make sure you're signed in to the same Xbox Live profile you used to save the game. Launch the game you want to retrieve your cloud saves for. Once you're in the game, select "Load Game" or a similar option that lets you access your saved games. If it is taking too long to sync, try check your network connection.
