Starfield doesn't have enough space to save.

After the first time I had this issue I went onto fallout 4, Fallout 3 and Skyrim and delete all but 2 saves on each game. If the save space is limited to all Bethesda games (let's say 1GB) that sucks because I'm only on NG+4 and plan on getting to NG+10. I think I'm going to need a lot more space. Cloud saves suck if this is how they work.

do you have a lot of Starfield saves? Each game only has so much space to save games in on the cloud per user. The space you're out of his almost undoubtedly your online storage

I have 15 Saves, total, including auto saves, and I have 512GB free space on my Xbox Series X. This initially happened when I had 30-something Saves, then 20, now 15.

When I go to "Manage Starfield", it shows my saves adding up a total of 312MB, 103MB of which are "Reserved Space", and 208MB of which are under my user name.

Something is very messed up here.

I find it hard to believe the Xbox One X is not powerful enough to run Starfield. Yes Starfield is a very large game, but, unlike other very large space games, in Starfield you do not fly from planet to planet. You simply fast travel everywhere.

They are massive and yet the Xbox One can run them just fine. So what is so special about Starfield that makes it too much for the Xbox One to handle?
