    According to the article from IGN:

    "Constellation Edition (the one that comes with the in-game watch in real life) all include “up to five days early access”.

    Starfield’s street date is September 6, but with this early access period, its effective release date is September 1.

    Here’s the small print, from Bethesda:

    “Actual playtime depends on the purchase date and is subject to possible outages and applicable time zone differences.”

    Given Starfield is a single-play story-driven game, it’s hard to see outages preventing any of the five-day early access periods from being available."

    I just want to clarify, did you purchase the game from Microsoft Store or from other gaming clients such as Steam?

    If it's from the Microsoft Xbox store, based on the "Playable on" tab, you can play the game on both the Xbox series console and Windows PC.

    If you're able to redeem the game codes on the Xbox store or redeem.microsoft.com, as long as it is under the Microsoft Xbox gaming client, the game will be playable on both the Xbox series console and Windows PC.

    Bethesda has confirmed this via their social media account from the link above.
