Star ranking doesn't seem right

I noticed toward the end of last year that I was approximately $100 away from reaching rank 3. I made $120 in purchases on December 28 (through the Xbox digital store). I'm still seeing that I dropped to a 2 star ranking…what gives? Any help appreciated.

Hello

My total reward credit minus pending ones are not converted so there a still lost credit not checked. So 23,000 minus 4,000 pending will be 19,000 but that was never converted completely, so i want 5,000 reward credits to fill the gap. Also the whole Give5
thing was a mess and i didn't do well so i ask for credits that same of value of what the program/VIP offers which was suppose to be 50,00 credits that why i ask that, can you add it would be great.

There are still many reward credit not converted for. So you made a mistake rewards8. I request 50,000 reward credit to make up for those credits not converted and for VIP errors.

Normally, most purchases for Xbox 360 and Xbox One from the Xbox Store qualify, including full Games on Demand titles (excluding game pre-orders), arcade games, indie games, game add-ons, game Season Passes, movies, TV shows, TV seasons,
themes and avatar items. In-game consumables, Xbox Live Gold memberships, Groove Music Passes, Microsoft Movies & TV Season Passes, and the purchase or redemption of Microsoft Points or Xbox Gift Cards, still do not qualify.

Since the bulk of your purchasing in the month of December, including most of the purchases on the date you specify, were pre-orders or game consumables, they were not eligible for MyVIP.

The 19,000 Credits, as mentioned in your previous posts, have already been deposited, and are currently pending in your Microsoft Account. You have already spent 6.75 GBP on THE FANCY PANTS ADVENTURES on July 23rd, and 4.65 GBP remain in your Microsoft Account.
Keep in mind that promotional Credits expire after one year.

The progress is what resets. You spend money this year, whatever rank you get to is your star rank for the following year. So you were 1 star last year (since you didn't make it to 2 star) and you will keep 1 star this year until you spend enough to earn
2 stars. However much money you spend this year will increase your star rank and you'll have that rank the following year.

That is how they've done it the last 2 years.

Ok thank you or that, The year before my rank got reset back to 0 from 2 stars as anything that was considered a pre order was removed and all my games were pre ordered. Thank you for clarifying that with me. I really hope pre orders count towards VIP Rank
as pre ordering now doesn't really make sense for me
