    I recently bought a Xbox series 2 controller and it’s been a week and the RT trigger started to make squeaking noises when set on the lowest hair trigger is there and way to fix it and does it affect my game play on the long term?

    I'm assuming that there is something in the locking mechanism itself, like a small hair, or a bit of dirt or dust, you may have to play around with the trigger and locks to get it out, assuming that's what it is of course.

    Had this happen a lot with my Series 1. Silly solution but hear me out! Put your lips close to the gap in the trigger when you hold it down and blow into it. What has happened is dust or dirt has gotten in there and it makes the squeak when you click your
    trigger, quick little blow and you are good to go!

    check that it doesn't get stuck, that could be the cause of the problems, but I suggest you use the guarantee to have it exchanged for a new one

    I have 2 elite series 2, my rubber knobs on the hair trigger locks came off too.

    And My 'A' button is very bad..
