    Spotify sound not working


    Ive came on my xbox today to listen to some songs and it turns out my sound isnt working but the song is playing ive connected my phone with xbox and it still not works checked my audio setting and they are all turned down to 0 and its not letting me change
    them i need help

    Hi,Alex! I'm Luis, a fellow Xbox Gamer . Thanks for reaching us out here.

    Hmm that is weird. Spotify should play at all times, not only when you are ingame

    Try performing a full power cycle

    Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button  on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

    Once the lights on the front of the console, unplug the power cable from the rear of the console.

    Wait at least 2 minutes

    Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button  on the console or the Xbox button  on your controller.

    Chiming in to say I'm having the same issue. Only getting sound in games right now. No sound in dashboard, not even any sound in Spotify, but when I turn on NBA 2K23, after the screen goes black for a second, it comes back and then I can hear the music from Spotify as the game is loading. It's as if the system is switching into a different mode when it does this. One that actually has sound. What is happening?

    My Spotify on Series S console worked great for so long then one day there was no volume. No matter what I try I have not been able to get it back. Any ideas on how to fix?
