    I am very upset as i am trying to listen to music and it decides to slow down and ruin it. I have tried closing the app, and restarting my Xbox, even tried changing my headset options and turning it off and on. I'm very upset about this.

    Thanks, just to confirm. Did you tried playing music using your TV / Screen speaker?
    Or using a completely different headset / wired headset?

    Did you tried the previous?

    Hope you're doing great today despite this OAKLEYCITRA

    In order to assist you properly please answer the following questions :
    What Xbox model do you have?
    Is this the first time that you try to use Spotify + gaming or was you able to do it previously without issues?
    How did you restarted your Xbox? Via settings?
    And besides the troubleshooting steps described in your post. Did you tried something else or that's all?
    In that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

    In the meantime do this, all together :
    1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
    2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.
    Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.
    3. Plug the console power cable back in.
    4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

    After that, try to remove and re-add your profile on the console.

    Also disconnect your router from power for about 3 minutes. Then connect it again an when everything is working, try again

    Thanks, could be a bug with the latest version of Spotify.

    I can advise you another two things to try in order to cover everything from your side, but if the issue persists you may need to report this problem to Spotify.

    A. Perform a factory reset but keeping games and apps

    Go to Settings > System > console info > reset , then select keep my games and apps

    B. IPerform an offline update for your console. In that way Xbox system will be installed from scratch.

    I have not yet, the first reply didn’t work sadly. Plays normal on different headphones though, no problems with YouTube and such, only Spotify

    Sorry for not replying I was busy and I have recently gotten sick
