    Spotify Saying It is installing but isn’t


    Hi,

    So I’m not sure what to do about this but when I go to the Microsoft store on my Xbox is states that Spotify is installing. Then I click the button that states go to queue. It isn’t listed. I had Spotify before this all just happened. I was listening to it and I walked away and my Xbox shut off. Then came back couldn’t find Spotify in my recent used apps and that’s when I discovered this. What do I do?

    Have you tried searching for spotify on the store from another account on your console then try to install the app?

    I haven't had this problem. My problem with spotify: I was listening to an album, then an ad came on, when the ad ended there wasn't any audio. I opened the app to see if it was paused. I pressed play on a song, no audio, tried a different album still no audio. I closed spotify then when I reloaded it said Something Went Wrong. Reload, This App Needs To Be Reinstalled (never seen that message before). Reinstalling didn't help. After closing and reinstalling multiple times finally spotify just started working again. Also awhile back spotify would close itself randomly after a few songs, no other game or app would do this.

    This could be a glitch which is why to troubleshoot it we recommend accessing Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

    After going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 2 to 3 minutes, re-plug them back again, then restart your console.

Transferring them to an external storage device, etc. still not working? 2nd Method: Try checking to see if your application is up-to-date. 3rd Method: Try checking your network status/restarting your router.
