Spotify app act weird

Dear all,

I am a regular Spotify user on the Xbox. However for a few days it is acting weirdly.

It does not play the podcast I selected but shuffles and plays a random different one. But not for all podcasts just for some. I wasn't able to identify what the difference is between when it works and when it doesn't.

I already unistalled and reinstalled the spotify app on the Xbox but it didn't help.

Btw, I was used to that as part of a standard Spotify account. But I have a premium account which should play exactly what I want, without ads. But ads where playing as well.

Spotify support pointed me to you...

I'm sorry the problem continues.
The last option is to reset your console to its factory settings, preserving your games and applications as follows.

Go to Settings > System > Console Info > Reset Console > Reset and keep games and apps.

This way your console will be reconfigured and you will have to add your account again. No game or application will be deleted, nor will you lose the progress of any game since these are saved in the Xbox Cloud.

Also as it depends on the podcast, the shuffle settings it is not.

Third-party problems are almost always due to lack of updating.
Make sure you're using the latest version of the Spotify app on your Xbox. Updates often fix bugs and compatibility issues.

Go to the Microsoft Store on your Xbox.
Search Spotify and check if an update is available. If yes, install it.
Check Playback Settings
Open the Spotify app on your Xbox.
Go to "Your Library" and select the podcast you want to listen to.
Before playing, check that "Play Next" or "Shuffle" is disabled. Sometimes shuffle settings can cause problems.

Also make sure you are using the correct Premium account to sign in to the Spotify app on your Xbox.
If you continue to see ads despite having a Premium account, you may need to sign out and sign back into your Spotify account in the Xbox app.

As advice, Delete Data and Cache
Go to Settings on your Xbox.
Select Storage and then Manage Storage.
Find and select Spotify.
Delete app data and cache.

My Spotify is acting weird too. It normally outputs on 7.1, but I'm only getting stereo and the bass is weak

Xbox sound is on 7.1 uncompressed,

Receiver setting are all the exact same as they have been... Issue seems to have popped up for me over the last couple days
