    Spongy and sticky controller buttons. Any way to have a replacement?


    Hello, I have a grey and green Xbox One Bluetooth controller, and I use it on PC. I bought it just a few months ago on Amazon.

    Problem is: some buttons became sticky and spongy. I've read this is a very common problem.

    I'm trying to register it, and have a replacement, but I can't do it.

    The numbers above and below bar code in the battery compartment, seems to not be correct.

    How can I do?

    Xbox controller LT trigger stuck

    Same thing happened to one of our controllers. We took it apart to find that the spongy cushion that keeps the trigger from hitting the case was disintegrating and the trigger kept getting stuck on the sticky part of the cushion. Once the sticky reside
    was cleaned up, it stopped doing it.

    You could try taking it back to the store you bought it at and see if they'll do an exchange for you.
