    I have had split screening issues contacted xbox customer support. This is what you have to do.

    go to settings/blu ray/persistent storage/ clear persistent storage.

    this worked for me and should work for anyone else whoa having split screening issues

    Thank you for your post. I understand you are experiencing an issue with using multiple controllers. What are the titles you are attempting to play split-screen? You may want to double check that the games support split screen.

    A little more info may be helpful here:

    What game is it?

    What console do you have? (OG XBOX One, S or X?)

    Is the console fully up to date?

    Have all game updates been applied?

    There could be known issues with the game depending on the version of the console you have
