    I am trying to purchase a game that costs £41. I have £30 credit on my account and it asked if I want to split the payment with a preferred card. When I say yes it keeps trying to charge the whole amount to the card not my account credit? Any fixes? I have tried turning the console on and off. I’ve reopened the store app and tried a few other things like disconnecting the WiFi but nothing seems to work

    Hey there!

    Have you tried to purchase it on Xbox.com instead to see how that goes? If the currency isn't allowing you to use it, then you can't use it for that purchase. Currency in your account can not be used for all products on the Xbox Store.

    Hi there, sadly this may not be possible however if they are unable to do this for you due to not enough funds on your cards another way you could do this is buy xbox credit via amazon or microsoft store and split the difference this way,

    Just make sure that the Microsoft balance currency matches your store region as well as the payment method that you wanted to use for the remaining charge.
