Split payment

I still have some money (30$ish) in my account but I cannot spend it because each time I'm trying to use it to buy a game, it is asking me to choose a credit card that is registered in my account to split the remaining, but it never works.

I call the support for that, they were suppose to fix that and email me to let me know they fix it but I never received any news whatsoever.

Will the split payment works someday?

It will split it. Buying BF4 premium split payment across my card and the money remaining in my balance.

 

Combining two CARDS to make a purchase

You can split payments between a credit card and any money you have in your Microsoft account, but you can't split a payment between 2 cards.

Yes, you can do a split payment option, but depending on how much the game is, it may not work because you can not split the tax.

I tried to buy a 79.99$ plus tax game using the 30$ I have on my account and split the remaining on my credit card and IT DOES NOT WORK. So no I cannot do that. I tried it several time and also contact the REALLY BAD CUSTOMER XBOX SUPPORT and it still never
work.

I am not trying to split the tax, I am trying to split more then 50$ and it does not work. Did I mention it does not work. Why is it not working?

Did you first choose your currency balance before the credit card option prompted you?

Have you tried to purchase it on Xbox.com instead to see how that goes? If the currency isn't allowing you to use it, then you can't use it for that purchase. Currency in your account can not be used for all products on the Xbox Store.

Depends on the game

If it is a 360 game and you are buying from the 360 marketplace only creditcards can be used

If it is a one game then yes a split payment is possible

Only way to get a 360 game with currency is the 360 console

 

Purchasing a content using the currency stored value, you will need to use a console because if it's the Xbox website, the currency won't be an option but only the credit card. As for purchasing the contents, there are games and contents that are not allowed
to be purchased using currencies, therefore, it would be better if can also contact the Xbox Accounts & Billing Department for more assistance via:

No, it's always been like that. It's just never been updated for 360 content.
