Spider-Man 3 on Xbox 360 not working?

UPDATE: Activision provided IGN with the following statement about The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on Xbox One.

"We are working with Microsoft in an effort to release The Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game on Xbox One. Currently, the game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and the PC on April 29, 2014 as previously
announced."

@pyramid if you want a good spider-man game, play ultimate spider-man, spider-man 1 or spider-man 2, but neither of them are on 360, they're ps2 era games.

I'm really sorry, but since you've practically ruled out the game disc, the issue must be with the console's DVD drive. If other games also have issues it would confirm this.

You'll either need a repair or a replacement console.

none of my games have done this

you try to check other disk maybe this one is damage

it's not damaged in any way, I just checked

Should the situation still not be fixed, then I do recommend to Restore the console to Factory settings.

Before doing a full console reset make sure to re-clear the
System Cache

1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select
   System Settings.
2. Select Storage.
3. Highlight but don’t select a storage device, and then press Y
   on your controller for Device Options.
4. On the Device Options screen. select Format.

If the game still does not work after a full reset, then it's possible that the scratch on the disk can be the cause of the game not playing. Try to launch the game on another Xbox 360 and see if it works, and if not then a new disk is needed.
